Introduced in West Bengal, India - these handbags are indeed a famous example of Shantiniketan craftsmanship from the 1940. Both sides of the bag have a classic but trendy design, with a double handle, one main compartment and one back pocket. These can be customised as per requirements. Attached zipper closes the bag completely. It was patronised by great Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, who restored several crafts that were on the verge of extinction in Shantiniketan when it was first introduced.
